CE marking is a mandatory conformity mark for products sold in the European Economic Area (EEA), indicating compliance with EU health, safety, and environmental protection standards. Manufacturers must prepare a Declaration of Conformity and technical documentation before affixing the CE mark. The mark is required for electronics, toys, machinery, medical devices, PPE, and many other product categories.
