Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is an environmental policy that makes producers financially and operationally responsible for the entire lifecycle of their products, including collection, recycling, and disposal. In the EU, EPR requirements apply to packaging, electronics (WEEE), batteries, and textiles. Sellers must register with national EPR schemes, pay eco-contributions, and report the volume and weight of products placed on the market.
