Prerequisites

  2. 2

Select and engage an EU Responsible Person

Options: (a) Appoint your EU-based distributor or logistics partner, (b) Use a specialized compliance service provider, (c) Establish your own EU entity. The RP must have a physical address in the EU.

  3. 3

Document the appointment and update product labels

Sign a formal agreement with the RP. Update all product labels and documentation to include the RP's name, address, and contact information. The RP must be able to provide product safety documentation to authorities on request.
